VSI crusher is a high-efficiency rock crushing equipment with the world’s leading level. Generally speaking, VSI impeller consists of Rotor Body, Rotor Boss, and Taper Lock. Since the impeller is divided into standard and Deep cavity, we take the BARMAC DEEP 840 OPEN SIDE ROTOR as an example and its is B90334105N.

The common wear parts include Feed Tube, Distributor Plate, Feed Eye Ring, Top Wear Plate, Upper/ Lower Wear Plate, Trail Plate, Rotor Tip/ Back-up Rotor Tip, Cavity Wear Plate.

1.Barmac Operating Principles

As shown in the following picture, the rotor has three discharge ports. The stones enter the cavity through the Feed Tube, and after being dispersed by Distributor Plate, they are accelerated in the rotor body impeller. Its speed could reach 60-70 meters/second. Afterward, they’re ejected from three evenly distributed flow passages of the impeller and they are impacted to the Apron Liners in the vortex chamber and bounced back by the Apron Liners. In such a way, materials in the vortex crushing chamber are subjected to two or more chances of impact friction, grinding, and crushing. Finally, the broken material is discharged from the lower discharge outlet.
